How Premier Travelers researches, reviews, and updates the cruise and travel information published on this site — and what to do if you spot something that needs correcting.
Our cruise and travel guides are written from firsthand experience and practical research. Before publishing a guide, we gather information from our own sailings, cruise line published materials, port authority resources, and reputable travel industry sources. We prioritize accuracy and clarity over speed, and we write for travelers who are comparing options and planning a real trip.
Trip and Cindy Sturtridge have personally sailed more than 80 cruises across nearly every major cruise line, including Carnival, Royal Caribbean, MSC, Celebrity, Norwegian, Princess, Holland America, and luxury lines. Where a guide describes a ship, cabin, port, or onboard experience, it reflects that personal experience wherever possible. We do not claim to have independently tested every product or sailing, and we do not present third-hand reports as our own.
Cruise line names, ship features, itineraries, amenities, and loyalty program details are checked against the cruise line’s own published materials at the time of writing. Resort and hotel details are checked against the property’s published information. When a supplier provides information directly, we note the source where it materially affects a recommendation. Supplier details can change between the time we publish and the time you book.
Published pages are reviewed periodically and updated when we learn that something has changed or when we have new firsthand experience to add. A page’s “Last updated” date reflects a meaningful content update, not a routine republish. Pages that describe fast-changing details — pricing, schedules, policies, and travel requirements — are reviewed more often than evergreen guidance.
When we become aware of an error, we correct the affected content promptly and, where useful, note the update in the page’s “Last updated” date. We do not silently remove context that travelers may have already relied on. If you spot an error, please tell us so we can fix it.
Cruise fares, resort rates, onboard charges, gratuity amounts, cancellation policies, sailing schedules, required travel documents, and government travel requirements can change at any time and vary by sailing, cabin category, and traveler. Treat the figures and details in our guides as planning context, not a quote or a guarantee. We confirm current pricing, policies, and requirements with you and the supplier before any booking is made.
